Eric FinePortfolio Manager & Head of Fixed Income, Emerging Markets
Eric Fine is the Portfolio Manager for the active Emerging Markets Fixed Income Strategy at VanEck. Eric joined VanEck in 2009. In his role, he oversees the Emerging Markets Fixed Income Team including asset allocation, fixed income research and security selection.
Prior to VanEck, he held senior leadership positions at Morgan Stanley including founding and managing Morgan Stanley's Emerging Markets Proprietary Trading group. He has advised numerous governments on economic policies and debt profiles, and rescheduled sovereign debts in Turkey and the Dominican Republic. Eric holds a Master in Public Administration in International Trade/Finance from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University.
